Mhairi McKay

“She is a true ambassador for ladies golf in Scotland and we at Aberdeen are proud of the fact that we are now able to support even more areas of the game”

Mhairi McKay

Aberdeen Asset Management is now in its fourth year of sponsorship with Scottish golfer Mhairi McKay. The sponsorship agreement sees the Aberdeen logo appear on the front panel of Mhairi’s cap and on her shirt, sweater and waterproof clothing in all tournaments she competes in on the LPGA. This agreement is particularly significant as Mhairi is the first female to be sponsored by Aberdeen Asset Management.

Mhairi will return from the States later this year to play in the Aberdeen sponsored Ladies Scottish Open which this year takes place at Archerfield Links GC in East Lothian from 18 – 20th August 2010.

Mhairi grew up in Girvan near the famous Turnberry golf links where she learnt to play and is still a club member. Based in America, she is a regular player on the LPGA but also plays on the LET in specific European tournaments.
